INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING TO NEW ZEALAND – WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The shipping industry has significantly been impacted by the covid-19 pandemic, we continue to experience significant impacts within the shipping industry; with shipping lines at short or no notice periods, reducing or cancelling services to and from New Zealand. many individuals and families relocating to New Zealand experiencing delays and escalating shipping costs to move their household and personal effects to Aotearoa.

The ongoing impacts of this are being felt across the world; limited availability of containers and or routing options, significant impacts on transit times and the increase in freight charges.

For more information on this subject matter, kindly refer to IAM’s white paper: “Supply Chain Issues and their Impact on the International Moving Industry and its Clients”.

We want to assure our customers that New Zealand Van lines will do everything within our power to mitigate impacts of these conditions, however we cannot be held liable for the increase in freight charges / storage costs that may arise as a result of interruptions and or postponement quoted service.
